How has the individual built, led and contributed?
Credible Impact
Is there a meaningful body of work and contribution that can reasonably be verified?
Mentorship
Does their excellence extend beyond themselves? Are they opening doors and contributing to the next generation?
At BOND, excellence should not end with the individual.

While proudly rooted in Nigerian identity, BOND also recognizes friends and partners of the Nigerian community whose leadership and contributions build bridges and advance shared progress. Our Nigerian Spirit Award reflects this belief: while we celebrate who we are, we also honor those who build with us.
Award Categories
Award categories may evolve from one Awards cycle to another as BOND identifies different expressions of excellence and impact within the Nigerian diaspora.
We began with “A Night of Nostalgia” (2024), remembering where we came from.
We celebrated “A Night of Resilience” (2025), honoring what it took to get here.
We shared our “Stars & Stories” (2026), making Nigerian excellence visible.
