Vice Chairperson Johnson Babalola is a Certified Immigration Specialist Lawyer with more than three decades of legal experience in Nigeria and Canada. A lawyer, author, mentor and leadership consultant, he is particularly committed to supporting young and internationally trained professionals. As a BOND Laureate, he brings expertise in immigration, mentorship, advocacy and community leadership to the BOND ecosystem.
Board Member Augusta Izokun is a senior Government of Canada professional with extensive experience in public service and organizational leadership. She brings to BOND a valuable perspective on stakeholder engagement, community development and institutional collaboration, together with a strong commitment to advancing Nigerian excellence and strengthening meaningful connections across communities.
Secretary Oladoyin Oladokun is a technology professional, entrepreneur and creative business leader whose experience spans the digital and entrepreneurial sectors. Alongside her work as a Google specialist, she is the entrepreneur behind Dhoyin Couture and Founder of Guestlink, a ticketing platform. She brings to BOND a valuable combination of technology, creativity, entrepreneurship and digital innovation.
Board Member Camil E. Otsu is a seasoned professional with experience spanning compliance, cybersecurity, risk management and technical operations. A thoughtful and solutions-oriented leader, he brings a strong appreciation for precision, accountability and continuous improvement, contributing valuable risk, operational and problem-solving perspectives to BOND's institutional development.
Board Member Emeka Nnadi is an architect, urban designer and Founder/CEO of Nadi Group, whose work in community-building spans Nigeria, the United States and Canada. His contribution to Winnipeg's Bridgwater communities was recognized with the naming of Emeka Nnadi Park in his honour. A BOND Laureate, Emeka brings a powerful perspective on innovation, placemaking, civic impact and building lasting legacy.
Board Member Geraldine Esemezie is a technology executive and transformational leader with more than two decades of experience spanning cybersecurity, operations, strategic program delivery and enterprise transformation. An experienced board director, mentor and investor, she brings to BOND a strong combination of strategic thinking, governance, innovation and people-centred leadership.
Board Member Kingsley Madu is an entrepreneur and the Founder and CEO of Expedier, a financial technology company focused on creating innovative solutions for individuals and businesses. A BOND Laureate, he brings to BOND an entrepreneurial and technology-driven perspective, with particular strengths in innovation, business growth, partnerships and creating opportunities across borders.
Modupe Ehinlaiye founded BOND with a conviction that has remained at the heart of its journey: the stories of Nigerian excellence deserve to be seen, celebrated and amplified. A lawyer, community leader and advocate for the visibility and advancement of Nigerians in the diaspora, Modupe envisioned BOND as a way to shine a light on individuals whose achievements, leadership and service were making a difference, often without receiving the recognition they deserved.
